All bets are in and most bets have been won and lost in the first annual Weasel Point Spread Challenge. Just to reiterate the rules, we are picking games with the point spread or the over/under bets on the board. There is no juice (house 10% take), so you either double up or lose your money on each bet. Max Bets are 10 units or 10% of available units, whichever is larger. Currently, Matt has bowed out and Brad, Mike and David are playing for a one night poker entry fee. Matt is still eligible to play if he so chooses. Also, how would everyone feel if I invited Greg in on this?
Anyway, let's take a look at the bets for last week and results...winning bets are in bold.
Greg - No Bets
Mike - $100 at beginning of the week.
LOSS - $5 on Kansas City (+3)
LOSS - $5 on St. Louis (-1)
WON - $5 on MN/Atl Under 35.5
WON - $5 on San Diego (-6)
Mike finishes the week with $100. No change.
David - $100 at beginning of the week
WON - $8 on Pittsburgh (-4.5)
LOSS - $8 on St. Louis (-1)
WON - $4 on Detroit (+2.5)
WON - $4 on San Diego (-6)
Dave ends Sunday with $108. David has two remaining Monday bets:
$4 on Cincinnati/Baltimore Over 40
$4 on San Francisco (-3)
Dave has the potential to finish the week between $100 - $116.
Brad - $100 at beginning of the week
LOSS - $10 on Philadelphia (-3)
LOSS - $10 on St. Louis (-3)
LOSS - $10 on Oakland (-2.5)
LOSS - $10 on Denver (-3)
LOSS - $10 on Detroit/Oakland Under 39.5
WON - $10 on San Diego (-6)
WON - $10 on New England/New York Jets Over 41
WON - $10 on Seattle (-5.5)
Brad Ends Sunday with $80. Brad has two remaining Monday bets:
$10 on San Francisco (-3)
$10 on San Francisco/Arizona Over 45
Brad has the potential to finish the week at $60 - $100.
Thus, current standings are as follows:

I clearly suck at this as well. Bring Greg in, the more the merrier, maybe he can be worse than I am :-)
Ha. I am scratch at this game. I should have bet more on the under in the Atl vs. Mn game. That was the biggest no brainer on the board.
All we know is this: For a week, I can't finish last!!!
